Thank you for your interest in learning more about the world of student technology support. Across the nation students of all ages are playing active
leadership roles in their school communities by helping to support the integration of technology in teaching and learning. Student technology support
initiatives, when well conceived, can be an important component to a school or district’s comprehensive strategy to promote 21st century learning
communities. Equally important, student technology support programs can be a highly valuable educational experience for individual student participants.
The Youth Technology Support Collaborative (YTSC) hopes that this guide provides helpful information and insight as you consider whether a student
technology support program might make sense for your school community.
Sincerely,
Calvin Hastings, Chair, YTSC, MOUSE
